Outreach Programs

Occasionally we hold programs at non-park locations in Fairfield County.  They are usually informational and educational, held in conjunction with one of our partners or other organizations.   Below is a list of programs that have been offered in the past.  To request information about these or similar programs, contact Miranda Cain 740 215-6645 or mcain@fairfieldcountyparks.org.

Nature Education, “Habitat Tuesdays”

On select afternoons, a naturalist from Fairfield County Parks will visit AHA! A Hands-On Adventure, A Children’s Museum to present “Habitat Tuesday” for AHA!’s visitors.  Topics vary.  Often, children will be led outside to explore and search for life in the wetland behind the museum where they can get a little dirty, and have fun!
